Vision Walk Privacy Policy

Vision Walk is made by MythGate ("we," "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information, and mostly, what it deliberately does without.

The short version

Your words stay yours. Affirmations you write, decks you build, and your voice recordings stay on your phone. Card text leaves your phone when you choose a made voice, request writing-coach suggestions, or share a card with other walkers, as described below. Vision Walk works without an account, without your name, and without advertising identifiers, and it collects no usage analytics. Connecting with other walkers is optional and uses a pen name, never your name. If you connect, the days you walk from then on count toward the community's totals, as described below.

What stays on your device

The app keeps these records in local storage on your phone:

• Affirmations you write and cards you swap into your decks.
• Your walk history, practice record, and check-ins.
• Your chosen themes, your word (the verb you picked), and theme growth.
• Steps and walking distance for each walk, if you let the app read them

from Apple Health. These live in a separate file that is left out of iCloud and computer backups.

The optional services below receive only what the action you choose needs. Deleting the app deletes its local data, except two small records that iOS keeps in the phone's keychain after an app is deleted: the identifier of the app's App Attest key, and, if you connected with other walkers, the community sign-in token. When the app is installed and opened again, it removes both and never uses them to sign you back in. If you enable an iCloud backup of your phone, Apple may include the app's other data in your backup under Apple's terms; that copy is yours, not ours.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Vision Walk reads your steps and walking distance for the time of each walk, to show them on that walk's receipt. It saves each walk to Health as mindful minutes, and as a walking workout if you turn that on in Settings. Health data stays on your phone: we never send it to our services or to any other company, we never store it in iCloud, and it is never used for advertising. A walk card you choose to share as an image can show that walk's steps. You can turn off reading steps in Settings, and change what Vision Walk may read or write at any time in the Health app.

What leaves your device, and when

Purchases. If you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to validate subscriptions and manage entitlements; RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and a random app-install identifier, never your name, email, or content. Voices. If you choose a voice we made, the words of that card go through our voice service to Cartesia to be read aloud. Cartesia may keep that text. We keep the finished audio in our private library so it can play offline and so the same words never need reading twice; there is no deletion date yet. Cards read in your own voice never leave your phone.

Writing coach. When you ask for suggestions, the current card text goes through our Cloudflare service to Inception's Mercury model. If that request fails, we may send the same text through Requesty to DeepInfra's DeepSeek model. We do not send your audio, decks, or walk history. Our coach service does not store the text or suggestions; it keeps request counts and app-install identifiers to limit usage. Providers process the text under their own terms and may retain it. We do not promise that provider processing has zero retention or is excluded from training. Choosing a suggestion returns it to your editor; it does not share or publish a card. Protecting our services. Requests to our voice, coach, and community services carry a proof from Apple's App Attest that they come from a genuine copy of Vision Walk. The proof uses a key created on your phone; our services keep the key's identifier and an app-install identifier to count requests and stop abuse. Neither carries your name or contact details; if you connect with other walkers, they are stored with your community account. Our services also see your phone's IP address with each request and keep it, with a count of recent requests, for at most a day, only to limit abuse. It is never used to locate you and never stored with your account.

No usage analytics. The app sends no usage events, no screen or session recordings, and no tracking identifiers. If that ever changes, this policy will change first.

Sharing a walk card. If you share a walk card as an image, it goes only where you send it, and only when you send it.

Connecting with other walkers (optional)

You can connect with other walkers: count your walk days toward the community's totals, and share individual cards. This is off until you choose it, and it works like this:

Signing in. To connect, you sign in with Apple. Vision Walk asks Apple for neither your name nor your email, so we never receive them. Apple gives us a random identifier for your account; we keep a one-way hash of it and a token that lets us disconnect your account later. Your decks, check-ins, recordings, and unshared cards stay on your phone.

Your walk days. From the moment you connect, each day you walk sends its date, the minutes you walked, the time your first walk started, and the number of walks. Walks from before you connected are never sent, and we never send steps, distance, moods, or card text with them. We use walk days to show the community's totals: how many walkers walked today and this week, how the walkers who started in the same week as you are doing, and walks by the country or region walkers chose to name, which appears only once 20 walkers there have walked. Other walkers see these totals, never your own days, unless you choose to stand on the boards, which show your pen name, the place you picked, and your days and minutes for the week or month. We keep walk days for ten weeks. We also keep the date of your first counted walk for as long as you count, so you stay with the walkers who started the same week. You can stop counting in Settings, which deletes the days already sent and that date.

Your pen name. You choose a pen name (or take one we suggest). It is the only name other walkers ever see. There are no profiles, photos, followers, or messages.

Where you walk (optional). You can pick the country or region where you walk from a list. It is shown beside your pen name on boards you join, and it groups the community's totals. The app never reads your location, and no coordinate is ever sent or kept.

What a shared card carries. The words of the card, its theme, and the made-voice recordings of those words. Your own voice recordings are never shared. Sharing is always your action. If you share a card while your membership has lapsed, the share waits on your phone and posts when your membership returns. Before a card appears to others, an automated review checks it against our community standards; some cards are held for human review. We do not tell you or anyone else the result of that review.

Reports and blocks. Any shared card or pen name can be reported, and any pen name can be blocked. We keep reports for as long as needed to act on them. Blocking hides that walker's cards from you; the other person is not told.

Leaving and deleting. You can leave the community at any time: your pen name is released, your walk days and first-walk date are deleted, your shared cards remain, credited to "a walker who came before", and everything on your phone stays as it is. You can also delete your account: we disconnect it from Apple and delete your pen name, your walk days, and your shared cards from the community. Made-voice audio is kept in our library by the words it reads, without any link to you, so the same words never need reading twice. Both options are in Settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; manage that in your Apple account's Subscriptions settings.

Where this is processed. The community runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2, Vectorize, Workers AI) in the United States. Automated review uses language models running on Cloudflare; card text is sent to them only for that review and is not used to train models.

What we never do

• No required accounts, and no collection of your name, email, or

contacts. Signing in with Apple to connect is optional, and even then the app asks Apple for neither your name nor your email.

• No ads, no ad identifiers (IDFA), no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
• No sale of data. There is nothing to sell.
• No usage analytics and no session recording.
• No reading of your location, contacts, camera, or photo library. Health

data is read only as described above, and never leaves your phone.

Children

Vision Walk is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the app will present the updated version and the effective date above will change. Material changes will be called out plainly, in the app's own voice.
